It's that creepy, crawly time of year when ghoulies and ghosties rise from the tombs, put on their winter parkas and knit caps, and party hearty at the Nickel!

Tonight, we've got Heidi and Katie grilling on the patio, because a little chilly weather cannot stop their insatiable blood-lust! Or grill-lust, as the case may be. $1 burgers, 50 cent hot dogs, or bring your own selection for them to toss on the barbie! We even have vegetarian options. Oooh, and if anyone wants to, we can watch scary movies on the big screens!

Tomorrow, we'll be serving up Satan's own favorite dinner item, TACOS! Okay, the Prince of Darkness probably prefers burritos, but it's pretty close. And don't forget the trivia contest, with your chance to win a soul! All right, it's actually a $15 bar tab, but wouldn't you really rather have that than someone else's dingy old soul?

Friday is the big day--Halloween! And taking the Nickel stage will be the Jane Deans in "Zombie Rock Girls from Planet X." That's not actually what their show is called, but I don't have the flier in front of me and can't remember their exact wording, so it will have to do. It sounds like a fun '50s B-movie, doesn't it? There will also be a costume contest, so wear your Halloween finery and frippery.

Saturday brings insurgent folk singer Sue Jeffers to the Nickel stage, venting all her political angst just for you! Come on out and give her much love!
