Welcome back! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I know I sure did.

Even with the holiday, however, we're right back into the thick of it at the Nickel, so hold on to your socks and head on out for a week of F-U-N!

We're now open on Tuesdays, so feel free to stop on by and have a libation... You know you want to!

Tomorrow, Katie and Heidi return to the grill after a two-week hiatus (the first because they were sicky-poo, the second because... well... who wants to grill when there's an Anne E. DeChant show going on?) It will be 50 cent hot dogs and $1 burgers on the grill, or bring your own and they'll cook it up for you!

Thursday, fifty-cent tacos and trivia rule the roost with that ravishing barmaid Ginger!

On Friday, it's the First Friday Dance Party, so put on your boogie shoes and shake a tail feather, baby!

Saturday, we've got Mary Player and Swank with special guests Madd Mann and Gene's Jazz Hot celebrating the release of MP&S's new album, Swanktified. Cover for this special show will be $10, all of which goes directly to the bands!

And keep your calendar open for Sunday, December 14, when we'll have a special fundraiser, Rockin' for Robin, to benefit Robin Stone, our sexy chanteuse! She needs some work done on her throat, and unfortunately hospitals don't take beautiful songs as payment. Luckily, a whole lotta friends are getting together for a benefit show, including the Swamp Boogie Band, Alexis Antes, Early Girl, Backbone and a whole bunch more. It will be an early show, so you don't have to worry about staying out too late on a work night.
