Hello Nickel Friends!

The holidays are right around the corner, so come out and enjoy the festive holiday season at the Nickel! We celebrate everything--solstice, Festivus, Chanukah, Kwanzaa and of course, Christmas, so come and join in the good cheer!

Friday, December 12, we've got Karaoke with Jammin' Ginger. Snuggle up to a hot toddy and then belt out your favorite tune!

On Saturday, December 13, it's the first day of a double-dose of Robin Stone. $5 cover for the show is a small price to pay!

Sunday, December 14, doors open at 4pm for a special benefit for Robin Stone, who is facing surgery on one of her vocal cords. (You can check out her blogs at www.myspace.com/robinstone). Admission is a sliding scale with a base donation of $10 (more if you can, less if you cant). Please feel free to bring a dish to share as were trying to keep costs down to devote every bit to the fund raising efforts. The Nickel is donating 100% of your beverage purchases to Robin and all of the performers are donating 100% of the door along with their generous time and tremendous talent! In exchange, you will get to feast on some yummy goodies, take a chance on some exciting raffle prizes and witness one of the most extravagant, fantastic lineups of acts ever to grace the Nickel stage:

The following weekend, we've got our Holiday Party, with dance music on Friday, December 19 and Alexis Antes and friends performing seasonal favorites on Saturday, December 20 on the eve of Winter Solstice and eve, eve of Chanukah!

Well wrap up the month with Karaoke on Friday, December 26 as we celebrate the first day of Kwanzaa, followed by Donna Mogavero on Saturday, December 27.

And were hoping you can join us for our New Years Eve party as we rock in the new year with one of Clevelands favorite bands, Early Girl, Wednesday, December 31!

We're still doing the regular schedule of themes on weeknights, starting with Souper Tuesdays with homemade soup and crusty bread every Tuesday, then Grilling with Katie and Heidi on Wednesdays and Tacos and Trivia on Thursdays. We've also got a new session of pool league on Monday nights starting on December 29, and we can always use more players, subs and alternates! It's a fun time, and you can win big money!
